据报道，Meta计划让欧盟用户通过Facebook广告直接下载应用，最终与谷歌和苹果的应用商店展开竞争。这种新型广告最早将于今年晚些时候在少数Android应用开发商中进行试点。由于欧盟的新法规《数字市场法案》（DMA）预计将于明年春天生效，Meta看到了一个尝试的机会。该法案认为苹果和谷歌是“守门人”，并要求他们开放自己的移动平台，允许其他方式下载应用程序。
