Hey everyone! I’m Oleg, founder of Webstudio. My team and I are super thrilled to launch Webstudio Beta https://apps.webstudio.is, the open-source visual development tool that will enable designers to create sites they love with the features that they deserve.🙌✨
We have been building this solution since mid-2022, and with this launch, we are finally ready to unveil it and get the community’s feedback!
🧮 The Webstudio Experience With Webstudio, you can directly interact with HTML & CSS to build more creative and capable websites. 💻 Backend Versatility- no more limits to what CMSs and databases you can use. You will use CMSs like WordPress, Sanity, Airtable, or Notion as if they were built in, even though they are separate UIs!

I was using Google Chrome on an iPad to access Webstudio & familiarise myself. I got the error message that the browser was not supported & to visit Webstudio on desktop. 😎 Just wondering if in the future you are looking to develop an iOS &/or Android application? 🤔 Totally appreciate Webstudio is in Beta at the moment. 🤗
Kudos to the design team. The user interface is clean, nice & easy to navigate & just works. It's refreshing. 👊
@sairmckee Touch devices for the Builder UI is not the priority at the moment. Webstudio is a pro grade software and as it happens interactions can be quite complex. For touch devices it would be a huge new level of challenges to deal with in terms of UX, so please use a desktop chrome for now.
Also on ios, all browsers, even chrome are technically just a safari.
