Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado claimed on Saturday that the Pentagon considers her a security threat.

Boebert tweeted on Saturday: "Apparently the Pentagon thinks I'm a security threat because I oppose Biden's plans for a woke military. Call me whatever you want, but I'm not backing down today or ever."

Boebert's tweet appears to reference a post on TRMLX, a website run by anonymous writers and editors, that claims the Pentagon created a report in February 2021 that highlighted social media posts from prominent conservatives, including Boebert, as potential "security threats."

The report, titled "Alternative Social Media Update 06 February 2021 (0600)," included screenshots of posts from figures like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, and others.

That said, the site TRMLX has a checkered history. The site is run by the same anonymous authors as a military meme page called Terminal CWO, and both have trafficked in COVID and vaccine conspiracy theories.

At one point Terminal CWO tweeted that while no children have died from COVID, the vaccine has killed many children, a statement that one of the site's authors admitted was false.

A writer using the pseudonym "Danny," the same name used to write about Rep. Boebert being a security threat, told Military Times in 2021 that the claim that the COVID vaccine killed children was an attempt to "troll."

"It was 100 percent a troll," Danny told Military Times. "They were frothing at the bait. They were just going off on our account, I mean, just the nastiest things you could say."

"We cannot confirm the contents of the document or the veracity of those claims," a Defense official said when reached for comment regarding Boebert.
