Spacetalk appoints new Chief Financial Officer Featured

Australian-listed Spacetalk has announced the appointment of Susan Graney as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from the beginning of May 2023.

Spacetalk (ASX:SPA) says Graney has over 20 years’ experience in a range of senior finance roles across retail, manufacturing, wholesale and export sectors within both listed and private entities.

Grayney most recently held the role of Chief Operating and Financial Officer for Genea Limited. Prior to that she served as Chief Financial Officer at each of Best and Less, Darrell Lea and Fantastic Holdings (ASX:FAN).

Commenting on the appointment, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Simon Crowther, said: “I am delighted that Susan will be joining Spacetalk as our Chief Financial Officer. Susan has extensive experience in manufacturing and retail sectors which will be very beneficial to the company as we optimise our operations and reporting.

“We continue to reset the organisation and focus on enhanced execution in the Australian market. Susan’s appointment is another key step in reshaping and upskilling Spacetalk and I look forward to partnering with her.”

Spacetalk was founded in 2001 and listed on the ASX in 2003 as MGM Wireless Limited, which developed the world’s first SMS student absence notification platform for schools.and is the developer of a technology platform providing "child safety and development tools to support wellness".
