[ROM][13][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 20 for Fairphone 4

Need to ask a bit of advice. Which version of magisk do you use and which is the best site? I made the mistake of dabbling with Ubuntu Touch and now some of my sensors have stopped working. I lost proximity and rotate. See this link in the FP forums about it https://forum.fairphone.com/t/solve...er-installing-experimental-image-ubuntu/87942

All working fine now as read the guide just gonna find the modules now

Fp3. in the new beta version of props it only sometimes worked, the older 6.xx works great

Is here anyone who successfully flashed LineageOS 20 + GApps and locked the Bootloader (Standard + Critical) afterwards without causing a bootloop of LOS ?

Is battery life any better on LOS compared to Stock?

Loosing 2.5% per Hours on Stock rom. Just in Doze mode... no matter wheter in WiFi, Mobile or Flight mode.

Hello, is it possible to compensate the ghost touches by software?
I imagine, that it could be possible to ignorate screen touches, when they occur much too fast. The other possibility is to reduce the sensitivity of the touchscreen. What's your opinion?

For me, it got massively better, even with GApps.

@mikeioannina Thanks a bunch for this ROM - I've been using it for a while now and it's great! I've only run into one issue: When using VoLTE, I don't hear any ringtone. It's just completely silent until the other person picks up. Is this fixed in one of the newer nightlies? What is the easiest way to update the ROM anyway?

No. I have the same issue with the 2023-02-05 nightly using 4G calls/VoLTE with a german sim card from Congstar.

What is the easiest way to update the ROM anyway?

Probably the integrated updater: Settings -> System -> Updater

Same problem here, but I use IodeOS beta build from 2023-01-31 with german sim card by drillisch (Sim.de). Even without VoLTE I don't hear any dial tone

Hello, I am using lineageos 20 on my fairphone 4 and I'm very happy with it.
But I bought the Fairphone 4, because of the HDMI USB C port.
Now I bought the ViewSonic TD1655 portable display with touch.
When I connect my phone with the monitor, the touch function is rotated 90°. So when I swipe left to right, it swipes top to bottom.
If I choose desktop mode in developer options it works fine. However, I think the standard environment is perfect for me. maybe that can be changed?

Thank you for your help

Thanks for this ROM! I'm having a problem where my in-call volume is very loud and the call volume controls aren't working. Is anybody else having this issue?

Sorry, I do think my call volumes controls are working. It is just that the volume is very loud. Lowering the call volume to its lowest setting is still too loud. But it is manageable.

I am having an issue where after a reboot, when I place an outgoing call, the person receiving the call cannot hear me, until I toggle the speakerphone setting on/off. After doing that, everything works with outgoing call audio until the next phone reboot.
gitlab.com

Fairphone 4 no outgoing audio during calls until speakerphone turned on (#5511) · Issues · LineageOS / issues / android · GitLab

Expected Behavior When a call connects the person on the other end should hear outgoing audio from the Fairphone 4 (FP4)...

Hello people!

I recently bought a Fairphone 4 and flashed Lineage OS on it. Soon I noticed that the battery life felt worse than that of my old Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. I imagine the most power hungry apps on my phone are Molly (Signal client), Telegram FOSS and Tutanota. I do not have Google Play Services or MicroG installed. On my old Xiaomi I also did not have Google Play Services or MicroG installed.

I wanted to ask if anybody also has this problem.

This is what I could find on the internet:
My build number is:
lineage_FP4-userdebug 13 TQ1A.230205.002 a16d53828e

LineageOS version is:
20-20230319-NIGHTLY-FP4

I'm using Lineage 4 Microg, but not having this issue on my FP4. However, I'm not using Molly (Signal client), Telegram FOSS, or Tutanota, either.

I am currently using LOS 20 with Microg and I don't have this problem. I am also using Telegram FOSS, but not the other two apps you mentioned.

Hello everyone.

I use now the LOS with microg for a few months.
I still have those issues (Phone is new):

- Phonecalls over usb/aux are very/extremly loud on the lowest step I can choose
- and as well the phone-ringtone-silence till someone is answering the call over VoLTE (not so over 3G)

Does someone or you @mikeioannina know the answer how to solve it?

Thanks alot for the work @mikeioannina !
