碳链价值APP讯，据华盛顿邮报报道，如果 Silvergate Capital Corp. 倒闭，将可能成为第一家因不良负债而不是不良资产倒闭的银行，因为其坏账都是存款而不是资产。Silvergate 的存款并不是正常意义上的存款，其特征更像是“速汇金”（MoneyGram International）或“西联汇款”（Western Union）等汇款公司持有的浮动现金，而 Silvergate 吸引现金的唯一原因是结算进出一组特定资产的交易，但 Silvergate 的存款移动速度可能比这种现金浮动速度慢的多，只要市场对加密货币兴趣下降，存款人就会开始消失。
此前消息，Silvergate 披露其可能"资本不足"，正在“重新评估业务和战略”。（华盛顿邮报）
