1998年，Valve推出了FPS游戏《半条命》，其在当时看来相当出色的脚本动画演出，让玩家首次意识到FPS游戏也能拥有出色的剧情，给整个游戏行业带来了深远影响。
不过，对于现如今的玩家来说，25年前的《半条命》不仅操作蹩脚，在画面上也远落后于时代。
好在， V社一直对Mod持相当开放的态度，因此这些问题都能够用Mod解决。
近日，
民间开发者Sultim Tsyrendashiev就推出了一款新的Mod，为这款25年前的经典作品带来了光线追踪的效果。
