如今北斗卫星导航已经应用于生产生活的方方面面，安装了北斗定位导航的拖拉机，可以实现无人驾驶和不分昼夜全天干活。
据央视新闻报道， 今年春耕时节，湖北钟祥柴湖镇红卫村的600亩农田，将全面采用加装北斗自动驾驶设备的农用机械进行播种。
北斗自动驾驶终端在当地已经安装了1600多套， 它能规划多条行驶路径，并实时显示拖拉机当前所处的路线。
耕地坑洼不平，但 北斗导航终端却可以完全自主地控制方向，让方向盘自动微调，使拖拉机保持直线行驶，而且精度能够达到两厘米。
