通信世界网消息（CWW）近日，据外媒报道，美国运营商AT&T将其物联网和联网汽车产品和职能转移到新的组织结构中，以加速这些领域的发展势头。
AT&T互联解决方案部门是运营商企业战略和发展组织的一部分，它将专注于战略增长机会，并使用该公司之前在创新推动中采用的相同模式。AT&T的一位代表指出：“几年前，我们将物联网角色纳入了公司各种业务职能的主流，并很高兴能将其重新整合在一起，推动我们下一个十年的成功。”
AT&T自称美国物联网领域的领导者，支持服务了1.07 亿台联网设备，服务的联网汽车数量在第四季度增加了 260 万辆，达到近 6000 万辆。
