AI-generated content will be widely commercialized in coming years, Alibaba says
On Wednesday, Alibaba DAMO Academy released its forecast of leading technology trends for 2023. AI-generated content (or Generative AI) tops the list as its growing applications will transform how digital content is produced. Another key emerging technology will be dual-engine decision intelligence, which integrates machine learning into decision optimization to support real-time resource allocation, such as optimizing port throughput and allocating airport stands, the report stated. Alibaba’s global research arm predicts that cloud computing and security will continue to play a key role in the digital transformation of enterprises. “Looking ahead to 2023, the advancement of various technologies will drive the co-design of software/hardware and the integration of computing and communication technologies,” said Jeff Zhang, head of DAMO Academy.
