I've been participating and building in web3 for almost 3 years now and ever since then I've had an etherscan tab open just so I could check gas prices easily.
In the last two weeks I've been experimenting with more complex chrome extensions and this was the perfect opportunity to solve a problem for myself - Gas Buddy sits in your browser window and only shows in windows for sites where you have your wallet connected. It's quick and easy to check the gas price now so you know if you would be better off waiting to make a transaction later or should be taking advantage of low prices right now!
