Yes if you can download the file and stick in the DDC folder then go into viper app and find ddc section and search for file name. Its over rated I did it with the fiio fh5s and it sucked. They tell people its so amazing and no one has the balls to say it sucks. it makes headphones sound weak and wimpy. If anyone has a ddc that sounds amazing feel free to say.

Please let's figure this out. If I can't get v4a to work. I don't want to live.
I tried the fix but did not work. Well it kind of worked but instead of the v4a asking to install drivers and freezes. Now it just ask to install drivers and then it reboots and still asking to install drivers.

I've had something similar happen today. I downloaded the repackaged version off GitHub, then flashed it. Everything worked until now where it kept saying no driver was found and I had to keep rebooting it, but it still kept saying no driver was found. RootlessJamesDSP and Wavelet were no use, both were useless and didnt want to work as intended.

There is only a few reasons I would root. For audio mods., custom rom's and custom boot animation.
I can't achieve neither with the nord n20.
Wavelet did work for me and the audio improvement is noticable.

Wavelet doesn't work because it doesn't detect "sessions" when I just want it to work for everything. Even when I was playing music it didn't detect anything.

I'm on Android 13 with OxygenOS13 I can't install Viper at all, it's been two days without sleep trying to solve this I install viper and it asks to install the driver, and it just keeps doing that... I tried to move the files to the module folders and it didn't work, could someone give me a light?
I'm on android 11 and i can't get viper to work again either. It was working then I reset and now I can't get it to work.

No hope if your device use 64-bit audio drivers
For more 'light' (and alternative methods that may help with some newer phones and ROMs - but again not for 64-bit audio drivers) read the posts on the lasts several pages, it has really been extensively discussed
Also about how to test with JamesDSP if 64-bit drivers are your case

I don't understand why this is happening, Normally a device can use 32 bit software when thats all it has. Now the OEMs think I know instead of having both 32/64bit support will remove 32bit and only use 64bit. Its like a downgrade it takes away options not adds to them. lol

What phone are you using? I don't have a fix but I'm just curious.

I am using OnePlus 9R (and was using the OnePlus 5 before this). Unfortunately, both these devices needed extra fixes/hacks for V4A to work. So I ended up making a Magisk module for myself which installs V4A as a system app, installs the drivers and applies fixes that are needed for it work (at least on my device). If you want to give it a shot, I've attached it.
I updated this zip of mine that I was using with OOS 11 to work with OOS 13. Works fine for me. Attaching it for whoever might want to give it a shot.
