However, Samsung smartphones still come with pretty good camera sensors. According to popular tech blogger @iceuniverse, the camera of Google and Samsung smartphones are quite decent. The blogger recently shared a camera sample comparison for some of their latest smartphones. The comparison show images from the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

These smartphones were used to capture images of a pumpkin. The images were captured under the same conditions. The same angles, light environment and other conditions. The Galaxy S23 Ultra captures more detail than the Pixel 7 Pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The pumpkin shapes and textures appear sharper in the S23 Ultra sample. However, the pumpkin photos from the Pixel 7 Pro and S22 Ultra appear “smoother”. In addition, there is also a very obvious colour difference between the sample of the Samsung mobile phone and the sample of the Pixel.

The company will release the latest Galaxy S23 series mobile phones in early February next year. The new Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 200-megapixel main camera on the rear.
