Zeekr, a premium electric vehicle brand launched by Chinese automaker Geely, said on Tuesday that it has produced its 50,000th 001 crossover, around a year after the company began delivery of its first production model in October 2021. The company currently operates at a facility in the eastern city of Ningbo with a monthly output goal of 10,000 vehicles, and reported delivery of 8,276 units in September. The EV brand is said to be preparing for a public listing in the US or Hong Kong and may raise a pre-IPO round of funding before that, according to a Bloomberg report on Aug. 25.
