RTX 4090上架开卖的同时，NVIDIA发布了新版驱动程序522.25，不但支持新卡，还开启了DLSS 3，并且针对一系列热门的DX12游戏进行了优化，性能提升幅度最大可达24.6％。
DLSS 3游戏首发三款《Portal RTX》、《Racer RTX》、《赛博朋克2077》，近期将陆续迎来 《漫威蜘蛛侠：重制版》、《光明记忆：无限》、《瘟疫传说：安魂曲》、《F1 22》、《逆水寒》“拂云庭”、《生死轮回》、《微软模拟飞行》、《超级人类》。
DLSS 2游戏也会继续发展，即将加入的有《无明天道：江户之黯》、《达喀尔拉力赛》、《毁灭全人类2：重新探测》、《哥谭骑士》、《神秘海域：盗贼传奇合辑》。
同时， 新驱动加入了大量针对DX12游戏的优化，包括着色器编译优化、CPU负载降低，以及新的Resizable BAR配置文件，其中许多优化在高CPU负载下效果最明显，能够使GPU得到更大程度的利用。
