You're My Savior!
My OnePlus 8 Pro was giving me a headache, until I found this post.
Thanks! Confirmed working on Windows 11.

This topic was my last hope. I tried countless videos, tutorials, drivers and none of my OP7 was recognized in fastboot.

Thank you very for sharing this. Like many others here it saved my ass after bricking my 8T and being unable to flash the stock ROM back with fastboot.
This helped me as well with OnePlus 9 + Windows 11 + fastboot. adb drivers worked fine, but fastboot needed these unsigned drivers.

I cleaned up the original post a bit, sadly doesn't seem like I can move it to a more general forum since this works for more than the 8T but hopefully adding device names in will provide a more common search result.

im using win 11 on a virtual machine (mac m1), but i cant make my op8t get recognized in edl mode, it alway shows as "bulk". already driver signification deactivated, installed qcom driver succesfully, tried manually install (says windows couldnt find drivers for your device) and no matter what i do, my phone shows always as bulk. besides it stays only for about 10 sec in edl mode, than reboots automatically. on my old mac with windows 10 it works. any experiencies and advices?

how to get file OnePlus_android_winusb.inf?
how to get file OnePlus_android_winusb.inf?

It should show up in that directory after you install the included OnePlus drivers for your phone.

Even if you get it to work I found more issues later in the process. I don't recommend if you don't have a windows machine.

Where exactly are the included drivers for the phone? Nothing shows up when I plug in but I do see Android in Device Manager when in fastboot . I'm starting to lose my **it over here. 8T+5G KB2007

EDIT ** Damnit man...finally! Just had to find the OnePlus_usb_driver_setup.exe. Kept trying to install the google usb driver by mistake. Huge Thx to @Mbektic for posting. This is my first OnePlus and it wasn't starting off good. Really surprised this hasn't been addressed by OnePlus seeing as how the OP was back in 2020. Either way, thanks man.

WOW....just wow...it literally took me two weeks of digging around and sort of gave up. But THIS finally worked allowing me to figure out how to get the unlock code in adb. This made my day/Friday!!!!!!!!! Thank you thank you!

Now to wait for OnePlus to send me back the code to unlock. Friggin' T-Mobile.

First post on this forum and it's to thank you!! It took me nearly the entire day, a dozen+ restarts of two computers and my oneplus 9, and countless searches trying to understand what all these files and applications are, but I finally managed to get the unlock code I needed to show up!! Thank you for writing a guide simple enough I could actually follow it!!!
