据 CoinDesk 8 月 19 日报道，自 2021 年 10 月推出以来，尼日利亚 CBDC eNaira 已累计完成约 40 亿奈拉（930 万美元）交易，拥有约 27 万个活跃钱包。
据悉，尼日利亚是第二个引入 CBDC 的国家，人口约 2 亿，GDP 约 4300 亿美元。
