[DEVELOPMENT PAUSED][j1pop3g] CyanogenMod 11 for Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace DUOS
this binary is different from my local build o_o,
I'm guessing because of not taking care of few mismatch warnings at end (?)
btw what kernal repacking tool do you use?

I physically damaged my J1 ace's camera module.
UPDATE: It started working again. I was building the kernel when I noticed that the camera drivers were also being built, so I reflashed the stock kernel out of curiosity, and now it's working again!
This kind of reminds me of the Z Fold 3 scandal where Samsung disabled the cameras if you unlocked the bootloader, but I'm sure it could also be just broken kernel sources. I guess everything comes at a price

Hello, @notnoelchannel Remember me I have successfully installed your rom no popups like system stopped but wifi is not working the main thing is not working GPS not working, and Bluetooth, ril already mention they won't be fixed but WiFi must be fixed pls

Confirmed working + modules! Also got my hands on a build machine so I'll be slowly working on the built-from-source CyanogenMod! CWM Recovery isn't working, but boot image seems promising

TriDiscord did check if ART was working on my port... well surprisingly, it did! I am trying to port cyanogenmod 12.1 now
great news! seems likely to see the new rom within next charge (currently at 90% haha)

cool!! i cant wait
CM12 will not be worked on. Can't get ADB shell working, probably related to Erwin's build being unclean.
If anyone manages to get a link to a decent 5.1.1 ROM for a SC8830 device that isn't ported by Erwin Abs, let me know.
For now, we are still trying to fix these bugs with TriDiscord with some init.wifi.rc modifications but they don't seem to work. Any help is appreciated!

soc SC7731 (?) I'm yet to find the source tree for it
will going in this route yield any help?

Don't think it will... CM or Omni is preferred due to easier porting and more functionality
And also, me, the lead dev of this device will abandon this ROM soon.We tried everything to fix the bugs but it didn't work

UPDATES ABOUT THIS:
I managed to compile a kernel which has WiFi driver built-in, so internet might work. Can someone test this boot.img and tell me if it boots, and if WiFi works? Thanks!

Tri patched the kernel to work with Android 6, so we made OFRP bootable too and it's *almost* stable
CM13 might be excepted to work on

The maintainer icon's size is wrong Might fix some time later
Thank you to all the coreprimeve3g devs for SELinux bringup on their device! Their work really helped me haha

If anyone knows how to debug the bootloader of this device on a bootloop, let me know. TWRP for Android 6 doesn't boot for some reason (TWRP for Android 5.1 boots and works just fine).ayyyyy thats cool any news on cm12?????TriDiscord did check if ART was working on my port... well surprisingly, it did!
