Masterpieces and Iterations
we call some paintings, movies, games, buildings, and songs a masterpiece. but apps, clothes, recipes, theories… they’re never labeled this way.
it’s because the latter change, while the former stay the same.
after finding success in software i began to crave solutions that could be made once, granting me more time to live my life versus remake whatever i did yesterday.
so i published a book. i made a board game. i recorded music. i produced videos. and none of these things will ever be updated. but you know what? i also learned that iterating is a choice.
a masterpiece is simply a good thing that refuses to change. make yours.
