作为 Online Safety Bill 法案草案的一部分，在保护儿童的名义下，英国将要求成人网站验证英国用户年龄。新法案要求网站通过信用卡或第三方服务验证用户年龄，不验证英国用户年龄的成人网站将面临最高全球年营业额十分之一的罚款。此外监管机构 Ofcom 还可以要求屏蔽这些成人网站。Online Safety Bill 针对了所有商业成人网站，不再限于用户生成内容的商业成人网站。新法案预计将在未来几个月递交到议会。
