俄罗斯和其他俄语地区流行的社媒网络 VKontakte 最近推出了自己的神经机器翻译（NMT）模型，可将网站上的帖子翻译成英文。
俄语新闻出版物《TASS》10月25日报道了这一进展（俄语链接），并指出NMT模型是基于开源数据训练的。VKontakte（俄语，意为 "联系“）的主要受众为俄语用户群，尽管该公司指出，希望用户与更广泛的受众联系，并与世界各地的互联网用户分享其 "独特的俄语内容"。
