GIF 的发音问题

对于 GIF，最早的时候我一直读“基辅”，感觉是中国人自然而然会把 GI 念成“鸡”，因为普通话发音里没有“鸽一”这个连音（某些山东方言里大约会有这个发音吧）。后来到了美帝，发现别人都把 G 念“鸽”，就像 gift 的发音一样，于是以为歪果仁都这么读。再后来，因为我的幻灯片经常用 GIF 动图，跟人交谈时，发现歪果仁其实也是分裂的，有人读“鸡”，有人读“鸽”。发音的派别分裂真是件麻烦事。Tomato · 特妈头 · 特妹头；Data · 逮它 · 打它；……

以下是几场世纪大辩论。感觉语言永远都不可能统一。
