Coinbase International Exchange has said that Polkadot (DOT), Internet Computer (ICP), and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) futures will now be available on its trading site. 

The update will happen on or after 10 a.m. UTC on Feb. 22. It will give buyers new trading options and make the exchange’s portfolio bigger.

Coinbase Adds Polkadot, Internet Computer, NEAR Futures Amid Crypto Surge

Because of the growing interest and demand for these digital assets, the new DOT-PERP, ICP-PERP, and NEAR-PERP markets should add many new trading options to Coinbase. Coinbase is still dedicated to staying ahead of the curve and giving its users a wide range of trading options.

This growth comes after ether derivatives trading on the site became very popular. Leading analytics company CoinGlass recorded $10.1 billion cumulative open interest for ETH futures. Users show an appetite for Ethereum-based financial products. Also, Derebit saw Ether perpetual futures contracts open interest reach a new high of over $690 million.

Due to their flexibility and ability to change, perpetual contracts, which don’t have an end date, have become a popular trading tool. Depending on personal risk appetite, traders can keep positions open forever, although that may not be advised.
