去年，福特是第一家宣布其电动汽车客户将从 2024 年春季开始在美国和加拿大使用特斯拉超级充电站的汽车制造商。此后几乎所有制造商都纷纷效仿。
随着这一时刻的临近，福特总裁兼首席执行官吉姆·法利表示，符合条件的福特电动汽车客户很快就可以预订免费的快速充电适配器。快速充电适配器将为福特 F-150 Lightning和野马 Mach-E车主提供特斯拉 V3 及以上超级充电器的使用权限。快速充电适配器将于今年春季向符合条件的福特电动汽车客户免费提供。
福特将今年 BlueOval 充电网络的特斯拉超级充电站数量从之前宣布的 12,000 个增加到已确认的 17,250 个以上，并且还在不断增加。
福特将从 2025 年开始过渡到 NACS 充电端口，无需适配器即可直接访问 Tesla 超级充电器。
