EcoFlow launches the Delta Pro Ultra, the world's first smart hybrid whole-house battery generator

Portable power and eco-friendly energy solutions company EcoFlow has launched the Deltra Pro Ultra at CES 2024 today, the world's most powerful smart hybrid whole house battery generator and backup system. The product has been recognised as a 2024 CES Innovation Awards Honouree for its exceptional design and groundbreaking technology. It can provide up to one month of power backup for a home.

And its latest is the brand new EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra, which it unveiled today in Las Vegas during the CES 2024 event running this week.

The Delta Pro Ultra is no lightweight; it is a whole-house battery generator that works with multiple energy solutions for many scenarios. It can provide whole-home backup and solar power storage, and yet is still portable enough for RVs and outdoor activities. It has enough capacity to power your home for an entire month.

The EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra has an unrivalled single-unit capacity of 6kWh, 7200W output and 5.6kW of solar input. It's stackable, so you can add more units to quickly expand your storage and output.

EcoFlow is also launching its Smart Home Panel 2, offering an easy way to fully integrate the Delta Pro Ultra within any home for quick grid-to-backup transition with automatic switch-over in under 20ms. In short, get yourself one or more Delta Pro Ultras and the Smart Home Panel 2 and your house is prepared for the worst and the system will manage itself, optimising energy use, reducing costs, and extending power backup through intelligent analysis and solar utilisation.

“In the face of increasing energy insecurity due to grid failures and extreme weather, we have developed Delta Pro Ultra along with Smart Home Panel 2 to address these challenges," said EcoFlow head of North American business development Brian Essenmacher. "We aim to empower individuals with the freedom to choose the best power solutions in daily use for their households and give them peace of mind during power outages."

To make sense of these numbers, the Delta Pro Ultra system can store from 6kWh to 90kWh, which is enough essential whole home power for two days to a month. With its 7200W output, a single unit can run your entire home including large home appliances like HVAC systems. And, when combined with the Smart Home Panel 2, the system can be scaled up to 21.6kW of output. This will power the largest and most demanding households with ease.

The Delta Pro Ultra can be charged through AC power, as well as solar panels and gas generators, giving you the greatest flexibility and backup time, and ultimately providing a highly-resilient energy solution that gives you peace of mind in any scenario. The solar power input integrates seamlessly with existing rooftop solar systems and flexible solar panels, with solar input from 5.6kW up to 16.8kW.

EcoFlow's robust battery management system ensures safety and longevity. The inverter features EcoFlow's patented X-Cooling technology, utilising a groundbreaking heat-dissipating system that increases efficiency by 50%, reduces noise and extends component lifespan. Its EV-grade LFP battery chemistry allows for over 10 years of daily use, with 3,500 discharge cycles before reaching 80% of its original capacity.

You can monitor and manage the Smart Home Panel 2 via the EcoFlow app, and it provides 12 loads of circuit-level control for managing individual appliances separately. Further, the intelligent Storm Guard feature, powered by Weatherbit, automatically monitors weather systems to prioritise power backup in case of an approaching storm.

The EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra system is designed for simplicity and accessibility, almost in stark contrast to its sheer power, usefulness, and scalability. It's ready to use immediately out of the box, and can grow and evolve as customer demands change over time.

The EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 2 is as straightforward as adding a sub panel, which any electrician can do, but is not essential; a transfer switch or inlet box is all you need. Of course, the Smart Home Panel 2 provides you with intelligent power monitoring, individual appliance controls, automated switchover, and other benefits. The Delta Pro Ultra itself does not require any permanent wall mounting and can be transported as needed.

The EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra is available now on the EcoFlow website and from Amazon. The Delta Pro Ultra with inverter and battery retails for $US 4,999, and the Smart Home Panel 2 is available for purchase at $US 1,599 or as a bundled package with a Delta Pro Ultra for $US 6,399 until 9 February 2024. After that date, the prices are $US 5,799 for the Delta Pro Ultra, $US 1,899 for the Smart Home Panel 2, and $US 7,499 for the Delta Pro Ultra bundle.
