@luobaishun Monica 4.0 sounds like an incredibly versatile AI assistant, Luo! Integrating multiple AI models like GPT4, Claude, and Bard to offer a range of functionalities from chatting and writing to translating is quite impressive. The addition of image, video, and PDF processing tools makes it even more comprehensive.
It's great that Jingle Bio is focused on enhancing the capabilities of Monica for a diverse range of tasks. I'm curious, how does Monica integrate different AI models to provide a seamless user experience? Looking forward to trying it out and seeing its full potential!
Hey there, Producthunt friends!I'm Suki, the product manager and designer for Monica.
Monica is hands down the most thrilling AI tool I've encountered this year, and it's my absolute favorite. I was incredibly fortunate to transition from being a user of Monica in October to becoming part of the team that shapes it.
The Monica team brims with vitality and creativity. I'm head over heels for both Monica and the team behind it! When I joined the team, the challenge laid out before me was clear: as user demands grew, so did Monica's functionalities. My primary goal became ensuring that Monica remained user-friendly while continuing to be powerful.
We boldly scrapped our original product design and decided to start from scratch. Through meticulous analysis of our users' daily workflows and leveraging AI capabilities, we identified a series of scenarios: - Chat - Engage with AI anywhere, anytime for knowledge. - Read - Access information by reading materials of various types. - Search - Efficiently search through multiple sources and summarize findings. - Write - Craft high-quality documents and edit content. - Translate - Overcome language barriers to access cross-linguistic information. - Art - Create art with just a sentence. - Toolkit - A toolbox for office essentials packed with practical efficiency tools.
These scenarios have now transformed into the clear and precise functional navigation of Monica 4.0. In addition to revamping the plugin, I also took charge of optimizing our official website and a range of UI interfaces, including fonts, layouts, colors, etc. These subtle changes have brought us closer to the anticipated considerate nature of an AI assistant.
That sums up some of the work I've done over the past three months. I hope you'll like it and find joy in collaborating with AI tools within Monica.
Lastly, please cast your vote for us! Your vote is a gesture of appreciation for you but holds extraordinary significance for me—it confirms that design creates value!
I'm really grateful for the ongoing updates to this product. I've been a long-time user, but I must admit, I'm a bit puzzled by this latest release. I currently have version 4.3.1 and haven't noticed any significant changes. The "Start from scratch" feature is a bit unclear to me; perhaps I haven't updated the application yet.
Despite this, I've found Monica incredibly useful for explaining web content, but its sidebar integration, which reduces screen space, isn't ideal for me. It detracts from the experience, leading me to believe that it's not quite a complete replacement for ChatGPT, especially considering the cost implication.
As a dedicated user for over 10 months, the standout feature for me has always been the convenience of the pop-up tool when selecting text on a webpage. It's been a singular but valuable use case for me, beyond which I haven't explored much of its functionality.
Thank you to Suki for her unparalleled design work, and a special thanks to Luo for being our hunter once again, as well as to the Monica users and the Producthunt community for YOUR support!
Reflecting on the past 9 months, Monica's progress has been bolstered by the support of many friends! It's incredibly exciting to present our achievements to everyone today.
Besides launching on Producthunt today, there is another thrilling announcement I'd like to make: Monica is no longer just a browser extension; we've also just released the new mobile version of Monica. The mobile product boasts exquisite design and introduces AI interactions tailored for mobile use that will surely dazzle everyone. Our team has been endlessly entertained by these new features.
Beyond exploring AI for productivity, we're equally committed to discovering how AI can create more fun.
In conclusion, my heartfelt thanks to all of you. Last but not least, I love Monica—do you?
