UX Design: How to Create a Logomark in 5 minutes flat.

How to leverage Dall-e 3 and vectorization to make a fully scalable placeholder logomark for your concept product in about 5 minutes.

Overview

You need a logo, and you need one yesterday, but here’s the thing:

→ you don’t have one.

But what if you could? What if you could have a logomark placeholder that actually looked good, and was reasonably representative of your idea with very little effort on your part?

Today I’m gonna show you how you can leverage Dall-e 3 and vectorization to make a fully editable placeholder logomark for your concept product in about 5 minutes.

Real quick: these logos are -placeholders-

Please remember while you’re doing this that what you are generating here should be used as a PLACEHOLDER and NOT AN ACTUAL LOGOMARK!

Want to be really clear on this one because the ability to copyright AI-generated work is already dubious at best, and there’s quite a bit that actually goes into creating a real, well-designed logo that AI honestly just doesn’t do.

TL;DR: use these as placeholders, not as real logos.

Cool? Cool. Moving on.

Making the logo

For this you’ll need to use either GPT-4 with Dall-e enabled (paid),

or Microsoft Image Creator (which also leverages Dall-e 3 and can be used for free with an account).

Used to be that it would just do it, but now they want you to have an account, go figure.
