First impressions, designed to last

Sort by:

I've been a graphic designer for about five years. Initially it was just a hobby, but in recent years I've been taking it more seriously whenever I found it to be a more useful skill to develop as I began to take web development more seriously. Around that same time, I had put together a social media page, experimenting with various forms of content to see what clicked.

As a full-time graphic/web designer, I wanted to find a way to build my own presence in the digital space that would give me more leverage regarding projects I was no longer interested in taking. It wasn't until people began asking me if I could use the style of work that I was making for their own personal photos, photos of their pets, company photos, etc. that I began to consider whether or not I should see how many people would be interested in such a service in the growing population of people working to develop personal brands online.

I realize the concept of "personal branding" has been around ever since the dawn of social media, but I hadn't ever come across a service that provided unique, personalized profile photos that had no bounds with regards to customization. The way I see it, if you're working to become a more recognizable figure in the social media space, your profile photo is essentially your logo.

That’s where Pixter comes in: I transform your favorite photos into one-of-a-kind digital designs, offering a unique and memorable way to present yourself online.

I believe the process should be as easy as possible, that's I've taken the time to develop a frictionless 5-step process to get your personal brand off the ground.

Step 1: Upload Your Photo

Upload the photo you want designed. PNG format is preferred, but JPEG is fine if you don't have PNG.

Step 2: Choose Your Color Palette

I've put together a wide range of carefully crafted options. Or, you can include your own personal color palette in the notes when you checkout.

Step 3: Select Your Background Style Package

This only applies if you have selected the "Headshot Only" option for your personalized profile. Package 3 comes with up to 45 variants.

Step 4: Additional Details

Provide any additional info that you may want me to know regarding your images in the "Notes" section.

This includes (but is not limited to): personal logo, name added to the photo, personal color palette, etc.

Step 5: Submit Your Order

Once you've uploaded your image and made your selections, you're ready to submit your order.

Thank you in advance to everyone who visits the website. And thank you to Product Hunt for making my digital "garage company" experiment a possibility.

Out of appreciation, here's a link to the 25% discount code for your first order (it expires August 29). https://pixter.io/discount/PRODU...
