V 社严打“AI 生成内容”，游戏《Heard of the Story？》因官方 Mod 导致本体强制下架
据 IT 之家 9 月 4 日报道，V 社今年 6 月起禁止 Steam 上的游戏使用 AI 生成的内容，除非开发者“能够证明他们拥有用于训练 AI 生成这些资源的数据集所使用的所有 IP 知识产权”。当下 V 社针对任何加入了“AI 生成内容”的游戏都相当苛刻，游戏《Heard of the Story？》因为添加了由 ChatGPT 驱动的 NPC 对话而遭到下架。
据悉，《Heard of the Story？》此前已经上架 3 年半，官方为游戏添加了一个 Mod，以实现基于 ChatGPT 的 NPC 对话，V 社很快给开发者 Shasaur 寄去了警告邮件，并强制停售下架该游戏本体。
巴比特注，V 社是 Valve（维尔福软件公司）的简称。维尔福软件公司，1996 年成立于华盛顿州西雅图市，是一家专门开发电子游戏的公司，代表作品有半条命、反恐精英、求生之路、DOTA2 等。
