Support is great. Feedback is even better.

"Thanks so much for checking out our launch! We'd love any feedback you have to make us better. Whether it be pricing, features, communications, etc., we're all ears.

We have a backlog of stuff to build and optimize for this Shopify integration – what do you think we should build next?"

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

Matt Jumper here, the design half of Framer Commerce.

I've been building in Framer for a year now and am obsessed with the platform. It's the fastest and easiest way to build beautiful websites with zero code.

I'm also a huge fan of Shopify, undeniably the world's leading e-commerce platform.

For the longest time, I would think to myself – what if we could have the best of both worlds? The crazy e-commerce capabilities of Shopify and the lightning fast building speed and customization of Framer? So, my partner Eliad and I were talking one night and just decided to build it.

With our integration, you can manage all your core product data in Shopify, and everything else in Framer.

We've built a premium template called CLARO that comes with every purchase, but you can also copy and paste all our Shopify components into your existing Framer site.

You can customize most of our components natively within Framer – check our site for more documentation of our features, customizations, and how the connections works.

This product was really built for Framer creators who want to leverage the power of Shopify (whether it be for themselves or client sites), but we haven't explored too much around the Shopify audience – if this interests you but aren't familiar with Framer, we'd love to chat about it!

Hey Matt,

It's awesome to see your passion for combining Framer and Shopify in such an innovative way through Framer Commerce. The idea of merging the e-commerce capabilities of Shopify with the rapid design capabilities of Framer is indeed intriguing.

As someone who's into design, I'm curious about the level of customization users can achieve using Framer Commerce. Are there any limitations or trade-offs when it comes to using Framer's lightning-fast building speed alongside Shopify's complex e-commerce features?

@rickoliver Thanks Rick!

The goal is to make everything as customizable as possible in Framer. For our launch, most items are natively customizable inside Framer without any constraints.

There are a couple elements that are currently limited that will be getting some updates in the near future. Those items are the product card in the grid view (you can change fonts & colors and wrap it in your own container to customize it, but the layout is limited to one option) and the product card in the cart screen with the quantity and remove controls (same thing).

You can see a complete list of our components and their levels of customization at framercommerce.com/docs/components
