《Roblox》测试版在 Quest 平台下载量超百万次

多人在线创作游戏平台《Roblox》在 VR 领域开局良好，在 Quest 2 和 Quest Pro 上达到了“超过一百万的下载量”。
Roblox Corporation 首席执行官 David Baszucki 证实，《Roblox》在前 5 天的下载量就已 “远远超过一百万”。这个数字表明《Roblox》将成为热门 VR 应用。
考虑到《Roblox》的热度和免费性质，这并不奇怪。在登陆 App Lab 之前，《Roblox》拥有 6600 万日活跃用户和超过 2 亿的月活跃用户，与《我的世界》和《堡垒之夜》的总和相当。据报道，Quest 头显在 2022 年 10 月售出近 2000 万台，月活跃用户达到 637 万，看到如此多的下载量也就不足为奇了。
Quest 2 和 Quest Pro 并不是在 VR 中体验《Roblox》的唯一平台。它在 PCVR 上已经支持了一段时间，之前通过 SteamVR 和 Oculus PC API 运行。但是，它已被 OpenXR 支持所取代，用户可以使用 Quest Link、Rift、Rift S、Valve Index 和 HTC Vive 玩。
