Amelia appoints Ashok Joshi to presales solutions architect role

Enterprise AI specialist Amelia has appointed Ashok Joshi to the role of presales solutions architect.
"Ashok's technical knowledge and experience in working with large and medium-sized businesses will benefit our ongoing Australian and New Zealand business momentum in the regional deployment of conversational AI solutions and overall market development," said Amelia Asia Pacific head of solutions architecture Richard Oldham.
"We look forward to the positive impact that he will have on helping to drive successful deployments while streamlining engineering activities and providing channel partners and customers with best practice AI consultation."
Joshi brings more than 15 years' technical and sales engineering experience to Amelia.
He joins the company from Microsoft, where he worked as a principal sales engineer.
Joshi previously worked for Avaya for more than ten years, most recently as technology consultant and ANZ professional services team lead; for IBM as a software developer, and as an assistant manager at ICICI Bank's IT group.
He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics and communications engineering from North-Eastern Hill University (India).
