Hi

I am trying to pull something potentially very stupid.
Turning cMP into a Hackintosh by running Proxmox and sticking Ventura into the VM.

and obviously I am failing with boot-loop the machine is early 2009 flashed to 5.1
96G ram, 2xX5690 and RX 580

Ventura requires a CPU with AVX2 support for several subsystems, like graphics drivers, so, you gonna need something like a OCLP patched Ventura image to pull this out.

Honestly, Ventura is not exactly great running with a MacPro5,1, what you are trying to do will be even worse - if possible at all, since running over Proxmox as a host is different than running native.

thank you
would running Monterey this way make sense then? I am running it on my 5.1 at the moment
I actually made Monterey VM boot to the setup screen but did not get enough time/courage to move forward
