Brolly deploys Aiven to manage its archiving services

Australian social archiving platform Brolly has appointed open source cloud data platform company Aiven to deliver a data infrastructure platform to manage its database.
Using Aiven for Apache Kafka, Brolly has not only improved data processing efficiency and reduced database errors but freed up valuable IT resources by giving its IT team more time to focus on customer value creation.
“We were looking for a reliable technology partner that we could trust to deliver scale, supporting our growing social archiving needs and services on demand, without adding additional resourcing pressures. Aiven made everything so simple for us from the get-go,” commented Brolly chief technology officer Ali Nazemian.
The company managed streams of structured and unstructured information from multiple sources using Aiven’s data management solution.
The platform ensures Brolly can manage and anticipate its customer’s data processing and archiving needs while also providing required industry compliance.
“Aiven’s Apache Kafka ecosystem is ideal for Brolly’s high-volume data streaming needs. Its agility means we can scale at speed to match Brolly’s changing rate of data ingestion,” said Aiven solutions architect Asia Pacific Troy Sellers.
Migrating Brolly customers’ data to the new Aiven platform and services was completed in less than four months with zero downtime. Brolly’s customers can now extract and search millions of records in real-time once their historical data is collected.
