Getting started with SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition 2305

Tackling the master data challenge can be a painstaking effort. That’s why we are happy to share there’s a way to start a master data management initiative with low entry barriers to get your Business Partner data straight – fully cloud-based and easy to deploy!

The answer is: SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition 2305 that runs on SAP BTP.

With this software-as-a-service, you can kickstart the central governance of core Business Partner attributes that are valid across the system landscape and leave the management of application-specific attributes in the realm of the de-central systems.

Generally, you can create or change a business partner directly in SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition, or start the process de-centrally in the operational business application.

With this release, you can create or change a supplier record de-centrally, for example, in SAP ARIBA Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, and let SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition take care of the follow-up governance including the matching and merging of duplicate data.

The entire governance process includes standardization and enrichment, matching and merging of duplicates, plus the subsequent validation and activation of the record that triggers the replication of high-quality data to the connected de-central applications
