amaysim says no changes to plan prices, 5G access at no extra cost Featured

MVNO amaysim says it will not be making any changes to the prices of its mobile plans, in the wake of Singtel Optus announcing price hikes for post-paid plans. The company resells Optus services.
iTWire had speculated that the provider would hike its prices in line with those by Optus, but that does not appear to be the case.
In a statement on Monday, amaysim said it would make a number of changes to its mobile plans from 3 July, and also offer three new mobile plans from 28 August onwards.
The statement said users of the $30, $40 and $50 unlimited plans would be able to access 5G at no extra cost.
- $18/10GB Unlimited Mobile Plan
- $170/150GB 12-month Long Expiry Plan
- $220/200GB 12-month Long Expiry Plan
Mobile speed caps will be introduced for all plans from 3 July, with the $15, $20, $30 and $40 plans being limited to a maximum download speed of 100Mbps. The $50 plan will be limited to 150Mbps.
