Hey Product Hunt! tl;dr AI is a web extension that summarizes web articles right on the page. I built this after I found myself constantly copy/pasting stuff into ChatGPT to quickly summarize. I wanted to be able to generate and read a summary of any article without leaving the page so I built tl;dr AI, which does just that!

I personally find it useful for staying up to date with news and quickly researching new topics. It's also really nice to summarize articles with a lot of fluff and get straight to the point.

Let me know if you have any ideas for other summarization use cases! I'm thinking of adding the following: - Summarize long email threads - Summarize YouTube videos - Summarize Slack messages - PDF support

This is iOS Safari only for now but I'm starting a beta for desktop/Chrome next week so sign up on the site if you're interested.
