闲置的 i7-7700 现在还能拿来干啥？

今天理家里东西，翻出来一片带主板的 i7-7700 ，还有一根 SM961 SSD ，还有一条 d 16g 的内存条。都是以前换下来的东西。差个电源风扇又能组台新机子了。
直接扔吧又有点舍不得，不知道能搞点什么玩的？
想想是不是可以组 NAS 或者软路由？社区大佬们有没有什么推荐的玩法
