Hey Product Hunt 🙌🏽 If you've followed me for a while, you know we have fun building stuff on top of ChatGPT. Here's another fun, yet super-useful side-project from the folks at Springworks - Pensieve AI 🪄🤩

It's as simple as it gets - upload any PDF document (max file size - 10MB) and the tool will ingest and learn all of the info to allow you to then chat, ask Qs, summarize it just like you'd with any chatbot 🤓

Try it out. It's totally free-to-use: https://pensieve-app.springworks...

Can't get this to work with any PDF :( or just it just take many mins to preprocess? I wanted to benchmark against our similar tool at macro.com.
Congrats Abhash on your launch, UI is simple & cool! I have questions: - As said, can it understand tables in Sales & Financial reports - How many pages length it can remember? for example can I upload a 1000 pages long book then ask? Good luck!

Pensieve definitely sounds like an interesting concept. Using ChatGPTᵀᴹ to interact with the contents of a PDF could be a game-changer for many of us who have to sift through large documents regularly. It's a neat idea to just ask questions and get answers straight from the document.

However, I do wonder about how well it can handle complex documents, especially ones that have a lot of specialized or technical language. Will it be able to accurately understand and extract meaning from these? And I'm curious about how it would handle ambiguous questions or ones that require inference based on the document's content.

Also, what about the privacy and security of the uploaded documents? That's a crucial aspect to consider, especially when dealing with sensitive information.

Nonetheless, it's an exciting tool, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it evolves and improves over time.
