Week 22 in review: Galaxy F54 incoming, Razr 40, 40 Ultra, and Redmi Note 12T Pro official

The Samsung Galaxy F54 is leaking left and right and we already know all of its specs, its design, and its announcement date - June 6. All we need is an official price and we are good to go.

We also learned the Nothing Phone (2) is coming in July, with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 4,700mAh battery, and a 6.7-inch display.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12T Pro is official with a 6.51-inch FHD+ LCD of 144Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, and a 5,080mAh battery with 67W charging. Xiaomi confirmed Redmi Note 12T Pro will be offered in black, white and blue colors. Pricing and availability details will be revealed in the coming days.

The Honor 90 and 90 Pro were announced l in China. The pair have 5,000mAh batteries, and Samsung's ISOCELL HP3 200MP sensor. The Pro brings a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, while the vanilla has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and a 6.7-inch AMOLED. The price for the 12/256 GB version is CNY2,499 ($355/€330), the 16/256 GB variant is CNY2,799 ($395/€370), while the 16/512 GB option is priced at CNY2,999 ($425/€395). The sale will begin on June 7, with the phone available at the Hi Honor store in China.

The vivo S17 series also debuted in China. We got the vivo S17, vivo S17t, and vivo S17 Pro, and all of them sport the same curved 10-bit OLED displays (1260 x 2800 px resolution and 120Hz refresh rates) and 4,600mAh batteries with 80W fast charging. The differences come in the chipset and camera setups. The vivo S17 is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, vivo s17T gets a Dimensity 8050 while the S17 Pro brings the Dimensity 8200. All phones are offered with 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. Moving on to the cameras, the S17 and S17 Pro get a 50MP front-facing cam with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. The selfie cams are also flanked by dual soft LED flash sensors. The vivo S17 series goes on open sale in China on June 8.

The Realme C53 launched with a 6.74-inch display and 5,000mAh battery. It's essentially identical to the Realme Narzo N53 that launched in India a couple of weeks ago. The Realme C53 is equipped with a sizable 6.74” LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The 8MP selfie camera is in a teardrop notch and the Realme UI wraps it in Dynamic Island-like notifications. The phone is powered by the Unisoc T612.

Finally, but argubaly most importnatly, Motorola announced the RAzr 40, the Razr 40 Ultra clamshell foldable, and the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023). The Razr 40 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, a 1.5-inch cover display, and a 144Hz 6.9-inch folding display. The Razr 40 Ultra has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a 3.6-inch fully-featured cover display, and a 165Hz 6.9-inch folding display. The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with 120Hz, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) is up for pre-order in the States. The Razr 40 Ultra is available in China and Europe and is coming this month to North America. The Razr 40 is due in the coming months.

Personally I'd go for the X5 It has wireless charging, faster USB speeds, better camera stabilization, and the ceramic back is literally scratch resistant

Both are great, the 11 has better performance and battery life, while the X5 has a better camera and build quality It depends on what you prioritize
