Three new EV models from MG to be sold in Australia Featured

Automotive firm MG Motors has released the pricing for three new electric models of the MG4 EV to be sold in Australia, with the lowest being $44,990 and the highest $55,990.
In a statement, MG Motors Australia, said the mid-range model, also known as the Essence, would be sold at $47,990, with on-road costs being extra for all three models.
The cheapest model, the Excite, will have a range of 450km, the mid-range EV will be able to do 435km on a full charge while the most expensive model, the Essence Long Range, will have a range of 530km.

The three new models will have the company's new Modular Scalable Platform that underpins a new generation of MGs, featuring rear-wheel drive, 50:50 weight distribution and thin battery technology.
The MG4 models have a 64kWh battery which can be recharging at up to 138kW, which means it can be charged in 28 minutes from 10% - 80% using a 150kW DC rapid charger.
All three models come with a seven-year warranty.
