Hi Praveen,
the view can persist the data and if you schedule it too, it can re-fetch the data periodically(snapshot, so it will fetch all the data). With the view it is generally so that it then goes to the lowest level if there is no persistence. So then the source system is accessed and this also per call of the story/view.
You can update the table using the update function. Your table is the last object. So the source system is not accessed if no data is available.
Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Which one you use depends on your goal and conception.
