Applications for SparkLabs Cultiv8’s cleantech accelerator are open for another fortnight, with space for 10 startups ready to transform the future of agri-food tech.

The global Sparklabs Group invests in early-stage companies and each startup will receive up to A$100,000 in seed funding.

Apply here – but get cracking because they close on April 17.

The six month NSW-based program aims to improve environmental sustainability throughout the agriculture and food value chain by speeding up technology adoption.

Delivered via a hybrid model, the cleantech accelerator will invest in diverse technology and hardware themes such as natural capital, biodiversity, climate adaptability, AI, automation, robotics, and circularity.

Ten qualifying startups will receive investment, access top-tier network of mentors and industry advisors, masterclasses, training, workshops, tours, and events, co-working office space at The Global AgTech Ecosystem (GATE), and introductions to elite venture capitalists, angel investors, and entrepreneurial executives.

The program will culminate in a regional Demo Day held in Orange, NSW, providing entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their innovation to investors and future customers.

Accelerator network SparkLabs will provide selected startups with mentors and subject matter experts from a wide range of backgrounds, including scientists, investors, entrepreneurs, industry organizations, and producers.

The program is supported by major organisations including SparkLabs Group, NSW Department of Primary Industries, Cultiv8 Funds Management, and a number of Australia’s agricultural research and development corporations.
