Hi Product Hunters! I'm Paul, an MD PhD candidate in Mental Health Neuroscience and I'm excited to share with you an iOS app I've been working on, called Piece of mind.

One of the main reasons why mental health is so difficult to manage is because it is not easily measured.

By tracking and understanding how your mental health changes over time, I hope that you can better manage your mental health, with Piece of mind.

With Piece of mind, you can: - Assess and track your mental health over time - Discover what improves and worsens your mental health - Share your progress with doctors and mental health professionals

How does it work? 1) Reflect on your mood for just 30 seconds a day, or if you prefer, just once a week for 3 mins 2) Piece of mind provides results that are scientifically accurate and recognised by doctors 3) By better understanding your mental health, you can better manage your mental health, or share your results with a doctor

I'd love to hear what you think! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to get in touch via Instagram @pieceofmindhealth.

Thanks for reading!

Hi Paul,

Congratulations on the launch!

Could you share your plans for the launch for Android in the nearest future?

@dmytro_iakovenko1 Hi Dmytro. Thanks for your question. Piece of mind has been coded on React native, which means the basic code works on both Android and iOS. It has been optimised for iOS, and the same needs to be done for the Android version too.

For the initial launch, I’ve had to choose to optimise for just one platform, but the Android launch is definitely in the pipeline - I can’t give you an exact date, but please do register your interest here (https://pieceofmindhealth.com/in...) to be the first to find out. Thank you!

@patios thank you, I tried to submit for the newsletter, but failed - it says "The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator."

How do you think, would you need software assistance in the foreseeable future to launch on Android?

Love the simplicity here. These are so important and helpful. Especially when talking to medical professionals, being able to share this sort of data is really important when monitoring and bettering your mental health.
Are you following a specific framework like CBT?

@nolwen_ Hi, thanks for your question!

You can use Piece of mind to assess and track your mental health, so it's not an app that provides psychological therapies like CBT - mental health assessments on Piece of mind are clinically validated (like the PHQ for depression). Instead, you can use Piece of mind to assess whether CBT has been helpful, or to work with mental health professionals to assess how effective any treatments have been.

Mental health isn't 'one-size fits all', so whatever therapies people decide to get needs to be personalised to the individual. Piece of mind helps with that.

Do let me know if you have any more questions!
