Thank you @kevin for hunting us. We at @phyllo are super excited to launch our first Web3 product on Product Hunt - Remanent Scan.

Building upon the experience that we at Phyllo have gathered through our interactions with numerous creators and businesses in the crypto space, we have learned that staying safe and vigilant in this ever-evolving crypto and Web3 era is now a necessity from both an individual and business perspective. The decentralized web allows anyone to interact with each other anonymously, with only a wallet address. Since a user has no costs associated with creating a wallet address, bad actors can game the system to create an unlimited number of new wallets and try to scam unsuspecting victims. To help combat this problem, we are releasing the beta version of Remanent Scan.

Remanent Scan aggregates and processes public data linked to a user’s wallet address from multiple on-chain platforms and off-chain systems to know more about a user and build upon the social karma they have gathered through various other projects and interactions. Data from federal sanction lists, crypto mixers, and dark web sites are cross-checked and linked. Therefore, Remanent Scan gives power to both individuals and businesses to identify bad actors without compromising privacy and user experience.

Individuals can use our GUI to learn more about a wallet address before interacting with it. Similarly, businesses can integrate our easy-to-consume API to prevent bad actors from infiltrating their platforms.
