We started with ourselves... my great team is always sharing new articles and resources on Slack but we were finding that there just wasn't time in the day to read everything. We were turning the articles into audio but the steps were too tedious. So, we created an internal Slack App and now we want to share it with you 🤗

It does a few things super well! 1️⃣ Instantly turns all articles shared in specific channels like #resources into audio 2️⃣ Allows you to turn articles shared in private channels or DM's using a slack command 3️⃣ Shares a weekly round-up of all articles shared that week in a single playlist 4️⃣ Lets you sync particularly interesting articles to apps like Spotify for more seamless listening

The tool has helped my team (and our beta tester's teams) share content in a much more meaningful way. We're all happy with less screen time and we get to learn about cool things during our boring commutes, it's a win-win-win!

Oh man.. getting people to stay up to date with industry-related news can be so tricky sometimes, but I think it's so so important.. This is a great idea to make everyone keep up to date and makes it so much easier. Unfortunately, we don't use slack.. any plans for venturing out onto other platforms in the future?
