Ok I realize that there are a number of models and only one forum... I actually got it working after I fiddled more with the network settings. Appears to be working fine now.

Well, I had fiddled quite a bit with the network settings (Mobile networks, network operators, etc), and it worked for a while, but now, even though it says it's connected, I cannot receive calls or texts. basically the phone only works for data on Verizon. Since I no longer have the settings I originally had which worked (and stopped), I can't even tell you what worked for a while Probably getting a new phone soon.

Just the encryption of the phone through the settings doesn't work unfortunately. It's the same with your lineage 18.1 and 19.1 versions for the G8s. Do you have any idea, if there is a solution for that?

I'm just having an eternal bootloop, i did the fastboot erase userdata and the recovery provided from the lienageos 18.1 does work, but when flashing with fastboot and rebooting it will just hang to an eternal bootloop

Hello!

I'm trying to flash this but I don't see any guide, just a generic Arrow website (maybe I'm blind).
I'm currently on stock v40a-222-01, which is BROKEN AS F., so I want to give this a try.

I see on post#2 that he followed the Lineage 19.1 build guide, which states the following:

1. Install Q Stock Rom (what is Q Stock? Just any LG G8s Stock ROM?)
2. Flash boot.img and dtbo.img (must the BL be unlocked for this?)

Sorry, been out of theater and beta testing for a while; I didn't have the necessity to mod this phone until LG broke it.

Update: after fiddling around I managed to have it fully working, this is how I fixed it

erase the partition userdata from fastboot

Unlock the bootloader and install the recovery linked here: Link

Download the LienageOS 19 from here: Link (no need to install Gapps)

Let it reboot to wipe the data and when it reboots again do the key combination to reboot to the recovery, don't let the phone boot onto the OS, or you will have to delete the userdata from fastboot to let the from wipe it by itself.

Once you are on the recovery go to the menu inside it to shut down the phone.

Boot it back again on fast boot mode and erase either system or system_a and system_b (depending on the stock form) DON'T DELETE USER DATA OR IT WON'T WORK.

Flash the dtbo.img and boot.img from the link mentioned previously.

Boot back on the recovery and now you can flash the ArrowOS from and Gapps (I do recommend NikGapps on the stock variant, it has near to google pixel experience).

And now it will boot normally and android 13 will fully work with all the google services!

The rom has been running really snappy and I love it, I also didn't had the Bluetooth issue, successfully connecting to my Alexa Echo dot and sending audio through Bluetooth, good job man!

I will add some pictures to show how I got it set up
