据金十报道，加拿大银行业监管机构在周日接管 SVB 金融集团在加拿大的分支机构，并表示将寻求法律命令以结束其运营。加拿大金融机构监管局局长 Peter Routledge 的办公室在一份声明中表示，在美国监管机构关闭了位于加州的母行后，加拿大采取这一行动是为了保护该分行持有的资产价值。
