据央视新闻消息，
我国首台自主研制F级50兆瓦重型燃气轮机发电机组G50，日前在广东清远完成72+24小时试运行，并正式投入商业运行。
这次投入商业运行的F级50兆瓦重型燃机，代号“G50”，由2万多个零件组成，与同功率火力发电机组相比，一年可减少碳排放超过50万吨，
联合循环一小时发电量超过7万千瓦时，可以满足7000个家庭一天的用电需求。
重型燃气轮机也被网友称之为“争气机”，其填补了我国自主燃气轮机应用领域的空白，解决了多项“卡脖子”关键核心技术难题，为清洁能源领域提供自主可控全链条式的“中国方案”，
该整机有2万多个零部件，工作压力18个大气压，等于海底180米深水压；工作温度超过1300摄氏度，以6000转/分钟的转速高速旋转。
