Here is my big thread on what’s new in Android 14 Developer Preview 1. Android 14 DP1 is a MAJOR release so there are a LOT of new features and changes

(These first few findings were from the emulator.)
Under Settings > Battery, there's a new "Battery widget" option that acts as a shortcut to add the battery widget to the home screen.
The new back gesture design that I previously enabled in Android 13 QPR1 is now live in Android 14 DP2.

I mentioned this in my blog post last week, but I've now got it enabled: Here's a look at the new back gesture design in Android 13! As you can see, the back arrow is now surrounded by a bubble (that supports dynamic theming).
